California Life

Omar and I just relocated BACK to Southern California.  We spent the last 4 years in a small town outside Nashville, TN.  Of course we moved 1 week before COVID shut everything down.  So we had a rough start to our newest adventure, but we made the best of it.  We got to roam downtown and Broadway when it was empty and when it was full of life.  We got to see the Smoky Mountains on our Harley when we rode the Tail of the Dragon.  We ate more chicken then we have ever eaten before (when it's yummy, you gotta eat!!)  We met so many wonderful people that will forever be in our hearts.  Finally the day came that we moved back to Cali.  There were so many wonderful people and things in Tennessee, but family and the beach called to us and so we are back.  We're still working on getting settled, but we are looking forward to all the fun and exciting things Cali has instore for us!  - 05/15/2024

Travel for Photography

Soon we will be off to Mexico to photograph a 25th Anniversary Vow Renewal.  This couple have been together for over 30 years and are still so much in love.  They make being married look easy and fun.  Relationship goals for sure.  When we were asked to photograph this special occasion for them, we were more than pleased to do so.  It gave us a chance to visit Mexico again, but see another side of the country beside the tourist side that we have always traveled.  It's going to be whirlwind trip as we rush down there on a Saturday for the big day and come back on Sunday and start the editing process.  We wouldn't have it any other way, because we have responsibilities here, but didn't want to miss out capturing this wonderful day.  Photographs to be added to the site once they have been delivered to the Client.   - 06/17/2024

25 Years and Still in Love

Well, were back from Mexico and working on editing photos.  Squeeks our cat has decided he wants to help with the process and is laying next to the computer kicking the mouse as we try to work.  Omar won't have it, but I let him do his own thing and just work around him.  The trip was wonderful, the wedding was beautiful and the party to follow was the place to be.  We had a great time capturing the events of the day.  Maria and Jorge are just the most lovely couple and even invited us to join in the celebration at the party.  Taking photos was definitely our priority, but we did get some dancing in too.  It was fun to capture the different traditions they observe.  They were all new and exciting to me, but Omar was very familiar with them and explained them to me.  - 07/12/2024

Preparing for the Bridal Show

We decided to sign up for a bridal show in Riverside, CA this November.  We are excited and working on planning and marketing for the show.  This is our first bridal show, so we are not sure what to expect.  We know there will be lots of brides, bridal parties, mothers of the bride there, and hopefully we will get to talk to a lot of them during the day.  I know we wont be able to talk to everyone, but hopefully they will take a card and brochure and look us up!  I myself love weddings and planning and all the fun stuff that comes with it, so I am looking forward to talking to brides about their special day.  Maybe I can also share some of my incites into the planning process that I loved, struggled with and ultimately either what I would have kept or changed about the process.  If you are headed to the show, stop by and say "Hi!"  - 07/22/2024

Last Minute Wedding

We are so thankful that Robert and Vanessa found us.  Their photographer cancelled at the last minute and we had an opening for their wedding date.  We are so happy to capture their special day and know they will love all the fun shots we have in store for them.  Due to the short notice, we didn't get to know Robert and Vanessa too well, but were able to get some poses that they were wanting us to include in their session.  We also found a great spot to zip over to between the ceremony and reception to get pictures of the happy couple.  This isn't a new place, but we have yet to photograph here, so we are excited to head to the Citrus Park for the session.  I can't wait to capture their memories and start editing.  The best part is, though, when we get the pictures to the client and see the smiles on their face, knowing we did an amazing job for them.  Last minute or not, I still can't wait to show Robert and Vanessa the pictures we will end up capturing for them.  Wishing the happy couple a lifetime of love and happiness - 09/27/2024
